We know that God is in control. We know that He wants us to put our faith in Him, to not be fearful, and to take comfort in His Word and in the peace that only He can provide. Despite the great amount of uncertainty and every-changing information concerning this outbreak, we remain certain of God’s love for us and His presence in this situation. God is our refuge and our strength, our ever-present help in times of trouble. We need to pray for those who are mourning the loss of loved ones, those who are sick, the caregivers in our community, our religious and political leaders, and anyone who is working tirelessly to try and stop this virus from spreading further or doing more harm. We need to do what we can to flatten the curve, love our neighbor, and prevent the spread of this virus in our community.
